A Culture Built on
People

We believe great projects start with great teams. That’s why we invest in creating a workplace where collaboration, communication and mutual respect are part of everyday life.

At Tyrone, every team member plays an important role. We foster a supportive environment where experience is shared, achievements are recognised and individuals are encouraged to grow their skills and confidence across every stage of their career.

Building Careers in

From supporting women in the electrical industry to mentoring apprentices and creating long-term career paths, we’re proud to develop the next generation of skilled trades. We believe that a strong industry starts with strong people, and we’re committed to creating an inclusive workplace where everyone has the opportunity to learn, grow and build a rewarding career. Meet some of the people behind Tyrone.

Careers Built at Tyrone

Meet Paul

HSEQ & Systems Coordinator

Paul joined Tyrone in 2011 and has progressed through numerous roles before moving into HSQE, where he helps keep our people safe and our projects running smoothly.

Stay curous, work hard and put your hand up when opportunities arise.

Meet James

Supervisor

James joined Tyrone as an apprentice in 2017 and has since progressed to qualified electrician and Supervisor, now leading teams, coordinating works and delivering quality outcomes for clients.

Embrace opportunities, learn, and don’t be afraid to take on responsibility. Every challenge is a chance to grow.

Meet Lennox

Electrical Apprentice

Lennox chose an electrical apprenticeship for its hands-on variety and problem-solving. Since joining Tyrone, he’s gained valuable commercial experience, with Burnside Village a highlight, and aims to become a well-rounded electrician across all aspects of the trade.

Becoming an electrician gives you many different skills and a job for life.

Investing in the Future

Tyrone is proud to work alongside leading apprenticeship and industry organisations to provide practical training and meaningful on-site experience for aspiring electricians.

We regularly host apprentices through PEER, Electro Careers, ATEC and Frontline Human Resources, while also employing our own apprentices directly.

Through these partnerships, apprentices gain valuable exposure to a diverse range of projects while working alongside experienced electricians and mentors.

Whether an apprentice joins us through our partners or directly, our goal is the same – to provide a safe, supportive space where they can build the skills, confidence and experience needed for a successful career.

Tyrone Values

Inclusion

We create an environment where everyone feels welcome, valued and empowered to contribute their unique perspective.

Collaboration

We achieve more by working together, sharing knowledge and supporting one another to deliver the best outcomes.

Authenticity

We encourage people to be themselves, communicate openly and build genuine relationships founded on trust.

Respect

We treat everyone with fairness, empathy and professionalism, recognising that respect is the foundation of a strong team.
